Honoring Those Who Served

On 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 i.e, on 11th November 1918, an armistice between Germany and the Allied nations came into effect, as a harbinger to the end of World War I. The very next year on the same day, Armistice Day was commended for the first time, and had been celebrated since 1919 as Armistice Day. In 1954 it was renamed to Veterans Day.

This day is devoted to thank and honor all our armed forces men and women who served and are currently serving our nation. It is the day to give thanks and show the gratitude and respect to all the former and active veterans for serving our nation, for serving us, for letting us live peacefully, freely and happily.

Thank you Veterans for your service and sacrifices. Thank you to the families that tended the home fires and stood behind our soldiers.
